Yes, (ISC)² renamed the CAP certification to Certified in Governance, Risk and Compliance (CGRC).
Updated by (ISC)²:
• The exam name is changed.
• Those preparing for the CAP exam should keep on prepare, as the entire content of the exam is the same.
• Other requirements, like experience, remain unchanged.
• Those who completed CAP certification prior to the name change will be notified to change their digital credentials with CGRC.
The new CGRC exam consists of 125 multiple-choice questions. Candidates will have 3 hours to finish their exam.
Pearson VUE manages (ISC)² exams globally, and all CGRC exams are conducted at official Pearson Vue test center. For attempting the CGRC exam, sign-up for the Pearson VUE account, check the test location good for you and schedule your exam.
(ISC)² requires three-year Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits to maintain current CGRC certification and recommends 20 CPEs per year.
The course duration is 5-days.
